On August 10, 2018, the four-month "China University Computer Competition - WeChat Mini Program Application Development Competition" ushered in the closing moment, and 30 teams that advanced to the finals came to South China University of Technology for the final Contest.
Launched at the end of March, the competition is open to students from universities all over the world. It aims to improve students' ability of designing and developing Web applications through competition, especially the ability of innovation and practice by using WeChat eco-mini program platform development technology. We will promote learning through competition, teaching through competition, and applying through competition, and promote the cultivation of talents and production, education and research through competition in the WeChat ecosystem.
The competition received more than 1,800 pieces of works from over 400 universities in eight major competition areas. The organizing committee of each competition area organized experts to determine the ranking and awards of the teams in each competition area through online preliminary examination and on-site evaluation, and 30 teams who qualified for the final were born and came to Guangzhou for the three-day pre-final training.
On the spot of the final, the final evaluation expert conducted the evaluation according to the on-site defense and the work demonstration of each team, and determined the ranking and award of the final team according to the evaluation standard of the contest.
