In 2018, Tencent's WeChat business group, the Ministry of Education's online education research center, the Ministry of Education's computer-based professional teaching guidance committee of institution of higher learning, and the Ministry of Education's software engineering professional teaching and steering committee of institution of higher learning jointly established the "China's college WeChat application education alliance". To build WeChat technology ecological environment for supporting college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training is an important work content of the alliance. Tencent WeChat plans to release the WeChat mini program “Campus Training Camp” plan, investing funds and supporting resources to support the talent cultivation of the campus WeChat ecosystem. The specific description and declaration guidelines are as follows:

Object-oriented

This project is organized by cities and schools, and led by teachers of relevant subjects in universities. It establishes a training camp to guide teachers, and develops practical training aimed at students who have a certain foundation and are interested in mini program development

It is organized by university teachers with qualifications and relevant experience;

Teachers who organize the project shall ensure that the identity information is accurate and effective, and shall provide proof materials issued by the school.

Project Content

The WeChat mini program “Campus Training Camp” is a WeChat mini program development training project organized according to the relevant implementation rules of the training camp. The training implementation standards are output by the alliance and Tencent WeChat, including dissemination materials, publicity and promotion, site reservation and process execution and so on to ensure that the training camp courses in different regions and different time zones have the same high quality learning experience. The textbook courseware, teaching methods and supporting experimental work can be designed by the teachers themselves under the framework of unified practical application development.

The content and process design and organization of each training camp shall be in accordance with relevant rules.

Naming of training camp

It is named after the school which the teacher responsible for the project is from, such as the WeChat mini program "Campus Training Camp" - Tsinghua University Station.

Content and time

The content and time of the training camp will be designed by the organizer. The Alliance and WeChat provide reference suggestions such as syllabus, PPT courseware and network resources. The duration of each training camp is about 2~5 days, which can be carried out in stages (no more than two periods). In principle, the duration shall be selected in public holidays.

Students in the training camp

The students of the training camp are students with certain front-end development foundation, but not limited to the school which the organizer is from, and foreign students are encouraged to participate. Each training camp will not exceed 100 students.

Fees for training camps

The training camps will be open to students for free and the alliance will provide financial support for the full cost of the training camps.

Referring to the application guidelines, the applicant shall provide the following documents:

Application documents: comprehensive description of the training camp project organization plan, the content shall include but not limited to the implementation time, location, object, scale, course content and class hours, team composition and division of labor, fund use planning, etc., which shall be compressed within 10M.

School declaration: if the training camp implementation scenario is approved or authorized by the school or the relevant department, it shall provide the declaration authorization document affixed with official seal by the corresponding competent department (PDF scanned version, no paper version is required).

Violation Handling

The following circumstances will be considered as a violation, and the Project Review Committee has the right to cancel the application and recover the funds:

Cheating or falsifying information of project application;

Violation of relevant laws and regulations during the implementation of the project;

The content of the training is suspected of plagiarism and infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

The training content is unhealthy, obscene, pornographic or defamatory to third parties;

Other violations identified or reported during the implementation of the project.

Support Methods

Tencent WeChat intends to invest no more than RMB 1.5 million to support this project at the first stage. During the training camp, it will maintain two-way communication and exchanges to promote the smooth progress of construction projects.

Each project will be funded by the alliance for the training camp according to the number of students recruited. The subsidy standard shall not exceed RMB 1,000/student in principle. The fee can be used to pay for teachers and teams initiating the project, on-site execution, student subsidies and dissemination cost, etc.

After the approval, 60% of the down payment will be made, and the remaining 40% will be paid according to the acceptance result. Students' experimental project results and relevant on-site recording materials for the training camp implementation shall be provided for acceptance.

The project review shall be conducted uniformly by the alliance organization. The evaluation committee may use telephone communication to get further information, and the application result will be fed back within 15 working days after the project is submitted.

For the projects that have completed the implementation of the training camp and achieved good results, the best mini program training camp teacher award will be selected every quarter, and an additional RMB 30,000 will be awarded.

The allocation and management of support funds shall be implemented uniformly by the alliance.

After the project has been pre-approved, the project applicant must provide an electronic document in PDF format with the official seal of the department's official seal (paper documents are not required);

After the project is approved, the alliance will issue a formal license to hold the “Campus Training Camp”; the project will then be disseminated to the public as the official project of the alliance, and the registration will be open to qualified students from universities. During the implementation of the project, the unified standard supervision of the alliance will be accepted.
